Here the story begins. It’s time to reveal why this is the destination we went to. We traveled through plains and forests, kingdoms and places without rulers, to arrive here and create ourselves a new home. Near the ring of the gods.
We’ve started a new season, and that also means new plans. I want to try something new this time – roleplay. This is a brief and quick showcase of what’s to come from me this season.
There’s one thing I’ve been always overlooking in my building and it’s a pity – small details that bring builds together. With my most recent builds I am trying to put more effort into them and even though I am still not as good at this particular side of building as I am with landscaping or weird block palettes, I learned some tricks that I can share. I’m gonna show some of my builds, both old and new, and point out what I’ve done to make them look the way they look.
Remember the sky island I helped Kunal2020 with? Well, that was only the first half of my job in his 77th Combine base. Here’s the other half.
This is an old project of the 77th Combine community started about half a year ago. We created a new world on a separate realm and came up with a plan to build a fantasy adventure map, taking advantage of tools we usually don’t have, like creative mode or commands. At first we were building here a lot, but then the hype faded away and we eventually closed the realm. Recently, after the release of 1.11, this creative project was opened back and I am one of the most active builders.
A while ago I opened a landscaping shop on the 77th Combine realm. I wasn’t playing that much in the past 3 weeks (as you might’ve noticed from the lack of blog posts), but I got 2 landscaping orders from other 77th Combine players and I made some trees and rocks for them. Here’s what I’ve done.
In season 7 our shopping district quickly became a mess of huge builds, including custom-made copies of Minecraft generater structures, from a nether fortress to an end city, then a custom ice spikes biome, slime trees (yes, really), several houses and other builds. There is an unofficial friendly competition going on – who builds the most insane shop. I couldn’t resist participating in making our shopping area even more awesome, so here’s my landscaping services shop.
A big portion of the spawn area on the 77th Combine season 7 world is a swamp biome. Swamps aren’t the most typical biome to build in, but they open awesome opportunities to use different building styles. So I’ve started some action there.
Dernalia is a world where I make everything as good as I can and I don’t cheap out on anything. When most people build entrances to their strip mines, they make a staircase, add some neat design and call it done. I usually do the same thing on realms too, but in Dernalia I decided to create something more impressive. Well, here it is.
This time a shorter post, because I don’t have any bigger topic to write stuff about. I am working on a big project in Dernalia, my singleplayer survival world, but it’s not even close to being finished at the moment. However, you can expect an article about it soon. Meanwhile, let’s have a look at a smaller project I’ve done this week.
We’ve successfully reset the realm and now we are playing on a brand new world. After a lot of running, exploring, dying and fighting drowned I’ve found a place to live and started building a new base. And this time I am using a building style I don’t have any experience with – hopefully it won’t look awful.
This base on the 77th Combine realm has been in progress of being built for half a year now and the actual buildings weren’t the only thing that has been developed. Both me and Kunal2020 have been creating pieces of the lore behind our megabuild, but we never published a big part of them. So I decided it’s time to put the entire backstory into one article and finally show it all to the world. Some parts of this lore had been created even before we started building, some of them were made halfway through and some are brand new, filling the gaps between the original stories.
This is a quick showcase of a build I made on the 77th Combine realm. I didn’t want to make a full progress update post because not much else has been done in the base area. Also, I decided not to do this as a “detail look” post.
Ok, now that we’ve pointed out that this article is kind of an outsider, let’s properly begin. Here’s my spaceship.
There is one thing many people don’t understand – how can I work on enormous projects for several months and still enjoy playing. So this is how I stay motivated to build in Minecraft. I made a list of 7 things that help me to work on my big builds and not burn out halfway through.
I don’t do shops on multiplayer realms very often, but I have just started a business on the 77th Combine. My new shop sells netherwarts, red netherbricks and bones and it was designed as a weirwood tree.
The 77th Combine crew has started a new long-term building project. It’s on a separate world, we have creative mode, commands and big plans. We are working on a huge island with kingdoms, cities, villages and forests – and once it’s finished, it will be a big adventure map.
What is creativity? What does it mean someone is a creative Minecraft builder?
I will explain this and show some builds from me and other people. This post may be a great source of inspiration to you and it shows the not very known way to improve your builds.
At the moment there is a build competition going on on the 77th Combine realm. The competition has one special rule: your build must be floating in the air. I decided to participate, of course. And after 4 days of building, I can present to you my sky island.
Greetings to everyone!
It’s here. We started a new season.
This is a showcase of my very old (and still far to be done) creative world started back in September 2015 with an idea to make an awesome medieval styled world with multiple regions in different styles, but everything connected together, making an incredible feeling when walking and flying between the builds.
Greetings to everyone!
Maybe you are just wondering what is that 77th Combine, the realm I play on. So this post should explain it to you and answer your questions.
Greetings to everyone!
This is the page I created for publishing my minecraft creations and share my memories.
I have been playing Minecraft: Pocket edition since spring 2014 and during the 3 years I gained noticable experience and game skills. Especially I became a great builder and master at terraforming the cubic MCPE landscapes.
